Alessandra Liberato
Alessandra Liberato was born in Rome in 1985. Even as a child she was passionate about drawing, so she directed her studies towards graphic design, painting and illustration.
With her work she want to create a fairytale world, populated by characters who live a daily life grotesque and surreal. She is inspired by the ethereal moods that belong to the imaginary of childhood. She love cats, of course!
Giovanna Monfeli
Giovanna Monfeli was born in Rome in 1981. She is a graphic designer with a passion for crafts.
Her grandmother and her father handed over to her the power of manual creativity.
She is in love with characters of the illustrator Alessandra Liberato and she play to give them a 3d life or simply another kind of life with fabric, cotton thread and buttons..
Chiè
Chie – little daydream was officially born in March 2012. The spark that starts a collaboration between an illustrator and an artisan was a stuffed cat made in January of that year: the first Chie.
The appreciation of people of this first cat brought the two artists to a larger project.
